Problems sending emails to Verizon customers

Posted by Dwagar, 10-19-2015, 11:31 AM
Whenever sending an email to email addresses on Verizon I keep getting a return email. I filled out the form for removal like 10 times in the last 2-3 weeks and looks like I only get an autoresponder that tells me I have a reverse hostname and have no problems sending emails to anyone else. Anyone else have this issue or know how to resolve this issue? Thanks.

I recently had a similar issue with them. You need to prove the rdns with links and even screen caps. Once I did they stopped responding and the block eventually came off. I can't say with certainty, but I think the blocks come off automatically after a period with no further spam complaints (which could just be someone forwarding mail off). The support channel seemed superfluous in the issue.

Hello, Assuming you own the server, Make sure your Server IP address is not blocked at any of the RBL's. MXtoolbox is a great tool. Also check your IP reputation at SenderBase as well. Sometimes your IP range could be blocked for something you did not do. Check with your data center if the other IP addresses on the network are not on blacklists. They are your best bet in getting to the root cause. If they are all clean, Call Verizon and talk to someone at Support. They normally do not help much but worth a try. Good Luck!! Anush Kumar

Thanks for your replies, I contacted the data center and they will look into it for us and get back to us.
